Canvas is definitely a top choice for summer shoe material, and Fred Perry makes several excellent models in the fabric. Above is a slim and streamlined take on the desert boot that I would love to add to my collection. Certainly a winner with shorts or jeans, and if you know how to come correct you might even be able to dress them up a little bit.
