THE BEST OF 2008 - NOVEMBER

As good as October was, there was lots of fun stuff in November, too… Plenty of things that would have made excellent Christmas presents (except maybe the LED Menorah)! I know the holidays have passed, but if anyone is feeling generous, I could still use a pair of Ralph Lauren Folding Sunglasses… I’m pretty sure they are the coolest accessory I have ever posted.

THE BEST OF 2008 - SEPTEMBER

Possibly in an effort to rectify the dearth of consumerism in August, I posted awesome product after awesome product in September. Check them out and you won’t be disappointed. I also posted one of my favorite videos of all time, featuring my boy Eli Porter… He knows he messed up, but he’s gon’ stay on top.

THE BEST OF 2008 - AUGUST

Word up. It’s January 23, 2009 and I realized that I never finished my “Best of 2008” series. August appears to have been a dismally slow month, but there were a few good videos and pics hidden in there. Surprisingly, there weren’t any sneakers or gadgets or products that still catch my attention.

THE BEST OF 2008 - JULY

Lots and lots of videos in July! None is my all-time favorite, but they are all highly entertaining… Well worth a watch if you’re stuck in a half-empty office with nothing to do today (or if you were one of the smart ones and are taking the day off).

THE BEST OF 2008 - JUNE

Looking back at it, June kind of sucked! Some cool accessories, and a funny video from the dudes over at Funny or Die, but not much else… Lazy summer days, you know?

THE BEST OF 2008 - MAY

Lots of great videos in May of 2008, including what is perhaps the GREATEST NEWS CLIP OF ALL TIME: Latarian Milton steals his grandmother’s car because he wants to do hoodrat stuff for his friend (who smokes with cigarettes) and because it is fun to do bad things.

THE BEST OF 2008 - APRIL

April was a fairly slow month for tomburkulosis. The archive page (which is kind of cool and kind of sucky at the same time) shows it as tied for the month with the least amount of posts. It appears that many of them were high-quality, though.

In fact, some of the coolest products I’ve ever posted on this blog were indeed posted during the month of April. The Tom Ford sunglasses, the rainbow Nikes, and the giant flip clock are all awesome, and they are actually affordable (though you may have to save for 3… or 4… or 5 months).

Also, the DJ Sara and DJ Ryusei video is one of my top favorite things I have come across in managing this blog. Who knew that a 9 year old and 6 year old could be so talented? I want to fly them over from Japan for my next birthday party, but that might be a little costly… Considering they’re already doing Grammy afterparties.

THE BEST OF 2008 - MARCH

The BBC Pinstripe Jacket is probably the freshest thing I have ever seen come from the House of Pharrell, while the Korg DS-10 puts Pharrell’s equipment on your Nintendo DS. I can dig that. I can dig all the other stuff I posted too, but I don’t have much to say about it.

THE BEST OF 2008 - FEBRUARY

February’s Best is unique in that it includes something that I acutally own! I bought the WeSC Raw Jean in February and I’ve probably worn them 250 times since… And only washed them once. That’s the raw steez, baby. Though they are currently looking hella fresh, there are giant holes in the crotch area, so I have retired them in favor of a new pair of A.P.C. Petit Standards.

February also features the best music video I have ever posted to tomburkulosis, the video for “Something Good” by the Utah Saints, also known as “The Running Man Video.” It is a magical video that has a fun twist ending and will bring a smile to your face every time you watch it, for years and years and years.
