Maybe it’s just because I lack any training in the arts, but I am always super impressed by realistic lighting in paintings, especially by convincing depictions of fire and whatnot. These paintings capture the glow of various incendiaries wonderfully, and it’s worth clicking through and checking out the rest of them.
