Randolph Engineering | Aviator | $99
These just might be the sunglasses that Don Draper was wearing during last night’s episode of Mad Men (Season 3, Episode 2). I can’t be sure, but when I tweeted about them, a representative for Randolph replied to me and suggested them… They look damn similar, plus I didn’t find anything close from Ray-Ban, Persol, or even Oliver Peoples (founded in 1987). Even if they aren’t the exact model, they look fresh and they aren’t too expensive, either. Still, I’d like to find out for sure… Anyone have any ideas?
UPDATE: I’m nearly positive that the sunglasses Don was sporting are actually the Original Pilot Sunglasses by American Optical. Hat tip to my excellent commenters.
